The Escola Catalunya contemplates  to its Center Educational Project (PEC) the possibility that the students of Infant Education and 1st of Primary Education  perform the pool activity in  school hours. The goal is for students  can recognize the aquatic environment as one of the essential elements of motor development  and thus offer the possibility of learning and experience  of aquatic activity to all the boys and girls of our center.

The facilities where we carry out this activity are at the Bac de Roda Municipal Sports Center,  thus enhancing the facilities of the nearest environment .

The students of 2nd and 3rd year of Early Childhood Education (P4 and P5) start  this activity in the month of October until the month of  May.  He  the cost of the activity is borne by the families,  which they pay quarterly  a receipt with the corresponding amount.

Students in the 1st year of Early Childhood Education (P3) start the activity in March until  May,  one  once already  finished and consolidated on  period of adaptation of the child to the center and to all the changes that it has supposed to them. The operation of the activity at this level is the  same  than in other Early Childhood Education courses.

This activity within the Curricular Project of Center of Infantile Education we found it within the area "Discovery of oneself" where through games in  water is advanced with the knowledge of one's own body and its possibilities.
